Intevac Vacuum Chamber Infrared Heater

Here is a very high performance infrared heater. This was previously used for heating up hard drive discs in a sputtering chamber. Obviously, since sputtering takes place in a high vacuum environment this heater was designed was use in a vacuum chamber. The heater can output up to 12 kW. It has integrated helium lines to cool the heater off since it can't be cooled by convection within the chamber. This system is new and has never been used. It was in storage as a backup for a sputtering chamber, but the plant shut down before it was ever used. While this system was specific to sputtering, it would work well for heating up just about anything in a vacuum environment. The power supply and heater are guaranteed in good working shape and are sold with a 14 day right of return.
