Durable cast iron table: Large 20" X 24" table precision ground flat for true sanding operation. For stable operation the table is double-supported by fully annealed precision machined table segments.
Operator friendly hand-wheel-tilting: Engineered worm gear design allows table to be tilted 15 degrees up and 45 degrees down relative to spindle. Easy-to-read scale allows for accurate tilt determination before engaging locking device. A tapered pin locks the table during horizontal sanding operations.
Safety features: Magnetic motor starter with overload protection, safety labels, well-placed ergonomic controls, 3 throat rings to minimize table-to-spindle clearance, positive-lok spindles.
The B-4 features a spindle and rubber drum combination designed with minimum spindle run-out for smooth vibration-free operation. The spindles are of a positiv-lok design engineered to tightly engage the main drive shaft while allowing for quick and easy operator removal to change spindle sizes. The heavy duty oscillating mechanism is kept lubricated by an oil splash bath for long term dependable service.
