New dial bore gauge 10-18MM mill lathe internal hole
The dial bore gauge offers an accurate method of measuring a bore, or detecting a taper or ovality. The dial bore gauge must be calibrated to a known size and will indicate the deviation from that size by a maximum of 1mm. A set of spacer rings and anvils are included with the bore gauge. These are used to set the measuring range to within 1mm of the desired bore to be measured or produced.
An outside micrometer, setting ring or slip gauges can be used to calibrate the bore gauge. The bore gauge has a knurled locknut to secure the anvils and spacers. There is a sprung loaded guide used to centralize the two measuring contact points to the bore. At the opposite end of the gauge there is a heat insulating handle with a split collet and knurled locking ring to secure the dial indicator.
Included with the bore gauge: Probe body, Dial indicator, 9 Anvils, 1 Spacer ring, Wooden storage case and Instructions.
