The Singer 47w70 is designed for darning & mending all types of
medium to heavy weight materials including cloth, vinyl, leather,
canvas, denim and various coated and laminated materials.
It was designed for industrial tailors and can be used for stitching such products as work clothing (duck and heavy canvas fabrics)
athletic uniforms, tents (camping up to circus sized), awnings, upholstery, farm products such as feed bags and tack items, as well as marine canvas and truck covers, the possibilities are endless!
The cylinder bed is useful for tubular and curved articles
Singer Industrial Sewing Machine for Darning and Mending of heavyweight fabric such as Denim, Leather and Canvas.
Comes with a Singer brand 1/3HP motor (footpedal controlled) and an industrial sewing bench with foot pedal control.
This is a 110/115v motor (standard U.S. household power) it was taken from a working environment and has been tested to work beautifully.
