This listing is for 125 new inserts. Each is size 5/16-24 and measures approx .375" long. Screw thread inserts are used when the original thread of a hole has been worn and is no longer useable. When they are installed into Heli-Coil tapped holes, they provide permanent conventional 60' internal screw threads that accommodate any standard bolt or screw.
