Principles of construction. The model 620R is a digital chainweight type balance which requires a set of weights (not supplied)!!! .The range should be from 1 gram up to the maximum required within the capacity of 200 grams.A typical set would include weights like 1-2-2-5-10-20-20-50-100 grams.Items below 1100 mg can be weighed without additional weights using the digital chainweight(0 - 100mg) in conjunction with the notched beam (0 to 1 gram in steps of 0,1 grams).An eddy-current magnetic damper eliminates the need for computing "swings"of the pointer.The beam will come to equilibrium within a few swings making it possible to make rapid measurements.
