Fisher scientific maxima c rotary vane vacuum pump runs
We have tested this pump and found it to be in Good working condition. We filled it with oil, and it turned on and ran, producing a strong suction at the inlet. When we first turned the pump on, it ran very rough and weak for about 5 seconds, then smoothed out and produced a good strong suction. We do not know why it would have run weak, or what this may be indicative of, but there may be some internal problem we are not aware of.
We have no way to measure the strength of the vacuum produced by this pump, so we do not guarantee it to provide the exact inches of mercury number you may need.
