Polariser & Analyser for High Power Microscope.
This equipment is designed to fit the Meiji ML Series Microscope, which is a transmitted light bright-field microscope but it may also be used with other makes.
The dimensions given will help you to see if this polariser & analyser could fit your microscope.
The Polariser unit fits to a maximum illuminator diameter of 44mm and is clamped in place. Once attached the polariser can be fully rotated in its mount. The height of unit is 25mm.
The Analyser unit has a diameter of 19.5mm and a height of 11mm. It is designed to be dropped into the recess on the body of the ML microscope just beneath the viewing head.
Polarised light microscopy is used mainly for the examination of crystals, plastics, rock sections and the like.
