Browning Mark III Golden Eagle with Super Star 3600 DX
Nice set of Mark III's. Both transmitter and receiver work very well. The receiver is a factory 40 channel receiver.
* No microphone supplied but works very well with an un-amplified D-104.
* Cases of course have some scratches after 30+ years but face plates are in good shape.
* The ping is also very nice.
* The channel 9 crystal is missing (normally where folks put the transmit VFO) and the receiver dial is a little off - needs to be adjusted
This is not an estate sale and not selling an untried Browning radio but one that has recently been used and has gotten good reports.
Comes with an older Super Star 3600 DX 3 Band radio.
* The seller converted the 3 bands to 6 bands - using the high/low switch gives you the 6 bands.
* Channel 9 is now 10 KHz up switch
* Coverage is from 26.065 to 28.305 and the radio works well.
* Has Roger beep 'on' all the time but can be disconnected at the board level - instructions are included.
