Digital dial for most swan radios.
240, 250, 250C, 260, 270, 270B, 300, 350, 350C, 400, 500, 500CX, 600, 700S, 700CX, and 750CW.
Simply turn a trimpot until the IF frequency of your radio is displayed.
For those with a 5.1735MHz IF, a switch on the back decides 80 and 40 or 20, 15 and 10 meters
For the other models, with 5.5 MHz IF, the switch decides Normal or Reversed SSB to match the setting of the switch on the radio.
For the 250 and 250C the vfo reading is multiplied by 3 and added to the IF. The switch does nothing. Resolution is 100Hz instead of 10Hz.
For many of these radios the VFO signal is available on the accessory socket on the back panel.
Displays frequency with 10Hz resolution.
Fully automatic. It measures the VFO and computes the carrier frequency.
Senses VFO frequency and automatically shifts offset.
Update rate of 5 times per second tracks real time while you tune.
Digital filtering to eliminate bouncing digits due to digital round off.
ie: does NOT bounce back and forth between 999 and 1000.
Backlit display for low light conditions.
Installation consists of connecting input via RCA cable as used to connect VCR to TV, (available from Radio Shack)
Power can be taken from a tap off the 6.3 to 12.6VAC or a DC supply from 8 to 18 volts. C-Swan display contains rectifier, filter and regulator. Can go on / off with the radio.
