Reproduction of the owner's and service manual for the Hallicrafters SX-24 shortwave radio receiver. The SX-24 dates back to the 1940s, but was a very competent performer, and still is when properly aligned and in good repair. While this manual is old and doesn't reproduce as nicely as some of the more modern manuals, it does include pertinent diagrams and/or photos, installation and connections, dial restringing diagram, operating instructions for all controls, tube placement chart, parts list, schematic diagram to help identify all parts, alignment procedure, assistance vital to repairing this radio.
