STRONG JD 450C DOZER 6-WAY blade, recent bottom, NO RESERVE ! ! !
SWEET little working dozer, shows 563 hours but I'm sure thats not right. COMPLETE bottom winter of 2008-2009 including chain, drive sprockets, front idlers, ALL bottom rollers and right side track tensioner. Top idlers both at 65% so I didn't replace those.
6-WAY blade cylinder pins tight, works as it should, could use a new cutting edge - about $210 for all three pieces, I'll probably put those on myself if it doesn't sell. DRY cylinders. STRONG motor, doesn't use oil, doesn't leak it either. Power shift and trans shift well, no leaks. A bit of a minor whine in reverse, nothing major. Final drives and brakes all in good shape,
My son shortened the stack this past week, had a tree branch take it off for him. We grubbed out over 1500 feet of fence - pulled the trees with the excavator and piled the trees with this dozer. The week before I expanded my truck parking lot at the farm with this dozer. Graded, pushed, then graded and leveled the fill. New electrical line from the alternator to the battery eliminated the charging problem. Electical/wiring issue with the start button requires a screwdriver jump at the starter. Recent batteries.
Tin is straight, seat is good, put her to work tomorrow! It doesn't sell I will!
