The best way to determine your vehicles axle weight is to drive the heaviest axle on a scale. Normally the front of your car, SUV or pick-up truck is the heaviest axle weight because of the engine. Most 8500 lb. pick-up trucks have a 5000 lb. axle weight and are acceptable to use on these ramps if the load height of the trailer is between 20" - 36" high. *Not recommended for forklifts, pallet jacks, steel track vehicles or skid loaders
