Ferguson te-20 fresh restoration all perfect and unique
This is a fresh restoration that my brother and I just finished in August 2009 with over $10,000 invested. This has 2-3 coats each of primer, blue or silver paint and clear coat. This is as perfect a Ferguson TE-20 as you are going to find. This was made in Coventry England in 1948. The engine was gone through by the dealer but not rebuilt since it was rebuilt just a few years ago, but they fixed what needed fixing and it runs perfect and shifts perfect with no tranny noise. The carburator was rebuilt and so was the alternator and starter and this is a list of all the brand new parts= front and rear tires, front and rear rims, front wheel hubs and bearings, front spindles and related bearings and bushings, manifold and muffler, all 4 tie rod ends, steering wheel, seat, gauges, drawbar assembly, modern size pto shaft, grill, side panels, front hood emblem and side emblems, head lights, ignition coil and chrome bracket, plugs, gas tank and lines and filter bowl assembly, ignition warning light assembly, complete distributor assembly and plug wires, axle pivot pin and bushing, id plate with original serial number stamped in it and I still have the original id tag for proof of serial number, radiator and all hoses and most wires, bumper that lowers so the hood can open and many other new parts that I can not even remember. This is all tight and like new and the steering is tight. There are not many better than this and it may be the best TE-20 in the world and my paint job is unique too, instead of the original dull grey I used Ferguson blue for the belly and silver metallic for the sheetmetal. The headlight wings are blue too for an added touch and Ferguson Script on the fenders was an idea I had as well that was inspired by the Ford 8N. I customized this tractor just a little as you can see but it looks so sharp and way better than a Ford 8N. Thank you for looking.
