The Multi-Amp Model SR-77 is housed in two heavy-duty formica enclosures, each equipped with carrying
handles and removable hinged covers which protect instruments and controls during transportation and
storage. A single, multiple conductor cable with locking plugs on each end is provided to interconnect the
two sections. Facilities are incorporated so that up to five independent outputs can be obtained
The larger section incorporates the two channel, 50 ampere (24 ampere for 240V units) Ohm-Spun
resistance load and the five ampere DC current output, which is used for testing DC targets, operation
indicators and seal-in units. This section also contains the harmonic restraint test circuit, primary controls
of the test set along with the solid-state digital timer.
The smaller section contains all other outputs of the test set.
Model SR-77 is designed so that the resistance load/control section can be used for the convenience in
