This device is used for x-ray marking to locate cardiac and vascular surgery landmarks.
Comes in a hard padded case with original operating manual. There is a set of controls knobs to move the radiopaque bars inside the plastic casing. Bar width is 16 maximum separation.

From the instructions pamphlet-
The ANCURE Marker Board consists of two adjustable, radiopaque bars enclosed in a plastic casing. The radiopaque bars serve to locate anatomical landmarks identified during fluoroscopy.
The radiopaque bars are moved by control knobs (two sets paired dials) mounted on a control box. The control box is attached via control lines to superior end of the ANCURE Marker Board. Rotation of the superior and inferior sets of control knobs will result in upward or downward movement of the superior and inferior radiopaque bars, respectively. Oblique movement of the bars is controlled by rotating the ventral dial of the paired set of dials.
Place the ANCURE Marker Board under the table pad with the control lines exiting at the head of the table. Verify the ANCURE Marker Board is laying flush with the table. Towels may be used to even out an uneven table surface.
