A Cole-Parmer / Barant Co. - Gear Pump Drive, Catalog #7144-00, 180-3600 RPM unit, supplied as pictured, without any mounted gear pump head. This Pump Controller is an older style, a Catalog #7144-00, as mentioned above, and it has been tested, and is in fine operating, as well as cosmetic condition. It is driven by 115-VAC, and has a 3 Amp fuse. This controller has a Toggle Switch in front with two positions for Off - On Operation, a Power Light, and a single-turn, Speed Control Potentiometer. On the rear of the unit is a switch for selecting an Internal, or External Speed Control Input, along with a jack for connecting an external 4-20ma control signal, if selected. This has not been tested. Replacements for these components, in the current Cole-Parmer Catalog would be listed for over $400.00+ for this Gear Pump Drive Controller alone, when new. A Micropump gear head pump, listed for use with this drive, in the Cole-Parmer Catalog, is listed for around $450. Not such a bad deal here, for this controller, when considering those prices!!!!!
