This was given to me as a Christmas present quite a few years ago, but I placed it in a corner of my basement at the time and never found a use for it. I just threw out the original cardboard box which wrapped the plastic case due to a little mold buildup underneath of it. I tested the fuel cartridge once and it seems to have held its original charge, therefore, I can honestly say that this has only ever been fired once! I have never had any staples to use with it. It is unique in that it is completely cordless and does not need any batteries. It works off of internal combustion of propane cartridges.
All of the Original Paperwork, (1) Fuel Cell, (3) Allen Keys, and Porter Cable Safety Goggles are included as I received them new.
The fuel cell is full and dated "8/12/98", ...and propane doesn't expire.
I researched and found them to have sold from $240 to $350.00 new. This is an old model but parts and cartridges are still available on-line. I have no need for it since I invested in a Paslode a few weeks ago. Other than the fact that cartridges are hard to purchase in singles, I have only read good things about this product online. After some other research, I also found out that the cartridges can be refilled using "Green Gas", the propane gas used in AirSoft guns, with an adapter...haven't had the need to attempt it, but it's useful knowledge.
