Heathkit used the 6CL6 tube in the HX-10, HX-11, MT-1, TX-1 and SB-401 transmitters and in the HW-16, HW-29, HW-29A, HW-100, HW-101, SB-100, SB-101 and SB-102 transceivers.
Collins used the 6CL6 tube in the 32S-3, 32S-3A and KWS-1 transmitters and in the KWM-1, KWM-2 and KWM-2A transceivers.
Johnson used one or more 6CL6 tubes in the Viking Navigator, Viking Pacemaker, Viking Ranger, Viking Ranger II, Viking Valiant and Viking 500 transmitters.
The Galaxy 300 transceiver also used the 6CL6 tube.
