After working in the media for 10 plus years I had noticed that more and more broadcast companies own more than one TV station. This also means two different news casts with two different logos and staion graphics. Often the reporter will do a live shot with the mic cube or flag on the microphone, then have to unplug the mic, take the cube off and change it to the other stations graphics, plug back in, and do a live shot then sometimes switch back. Thats how duoFlag was born. It consists a blank mic cube, a clear, reversable wrap that has the station logos/graphics, placed back to back, is adhered to 1 corner. Do your live shot on station "A".Simply flip the wrap to station "B" and do your next live shot.
I am interested in selling this idea. I believe the duoFLAG can make field crews job a little easier while helping with station promotion.
