Great Machine for making pellets from all types of biomass.
This machine is made for turning your "biomass" into pellets for burning in a pellet stove. "Biomass" is just about any organic material. The "recipe" of what moisture content, how much pressure to run the mill with, the ideal size of material going in and even what is easy to pelletize and what will not work are all variables.Make pellets with leaves, paper, yard waste, etc. Look for tips and more info on our website. We know machinery. Please look at the overall photos of the machine, Notice that there are no fan belts connecting the motor to the mill, it's direct drive. No belts, no slipping, better power transmission. The power is routed through a rugged worm gear and bevel gear set (see picture). The gear shaft is supported for a set of angular contact roller bearings (see picture). The entire drive assembly is an oil filled gearbox. The housing is made from cast iron. This is simply the best way to build a machine. It will last for a very long time without parts wearing out.
It weighs about 240 lbs. It uses single phase 220 volt power and is 3 HP.
