Fitel S175 fusion splicer mint V2000 +S323 w/ buyitnow
The splicer has been thoroughly and professionally inspected/tested/cleaned. It was only used for research/lab work by a capable engineer. Never rented out, never abused. The entire splicer- including camera lenses, mirrors and v-grooves- are in absolute mint condition The current electrodes have just been burned-in/stabilized; electrodes can easily last over 2000 arcs if they are maintained/rotated periodically. The total electrode arc count is only 9k and the number of actual completed splices is only a few thousand. If maintained regularly, it should last over 100,000 splices before showing any sign of getting tired. Most other models of fusion splicers cannot even fathom 100k splices. I've been in the business long enough to know.
S175 and S323 models are perfectly suited for the most demanding, high-volume manufacturing. The S175 can easily splice dissimilar/specialty fibers and has parameters that can be adjusted to optimize fiber inspection, splicing and loss estimation. In a darkened room/environment, two bright amber LED's help to illuminate the splicing area under the windshield. It can auto-select splice programs such as SM, MM or DS fiber to reduce cycle time in a production environment. Both the auto and manual mode work great on this splicer and SM fiber is aligned perfectly.
