Argonaut 2410 Personal Screening Synthesizer, OPT. Cool
The 2410 personal screening synthesizer is designed to help process chemists who work with small amounts of material, simulate and replicate the thermal and mixing conditions seen in larger production reactors. Large-Scale Capabilities at Benchtop Size and Cost Four individual reaction vessels In situ thermal probe monitors and controls solution temperature Stirring from any height duplicates large-scale overhead mixing Independent reaction management and data collection provides in-depth information similar to that available from large-scal
In Situ Thermal Monitoring and Control A key difference between benchtop reactors and large-scale systems is the rate of heating, with larger-scale reactions responding more slowly to thermal gradients. To address this issue, the 2410 Personal Screening Synthesizer was designed to monitor the temperature of the actual reaction solution, not just the temperature of the reactor block. In situ temperature control and monitoring makes it possible for chemists to see thermal changes instantaneously. Chemists can adjust the thermal ramp rate for slow temperature changes using precise control, and can simulate large-volume reaction conditions.
Second-by-Second Reaction Monitoring The 2410 Personal Screening Synthesizer monitors and records internal reaction and external block temperatures, useful for subsequent analysis and side-by-side comparisons. This information is valuable to determine the feasibility and safety of process scale-up. Results are displayed in real-time on an easy-to-read color screen. Portable Reaction Data Instead of using external computers and messy cables that take up valuable hood space, the 2410 Personal Screening Synthesizer uses a removable memory card that makes it easy for chemists to transfer their reaction data to a desktop computer. Pushbutton Reaction Charting Large amounts of second-by-second reaction data are displayed in easy-to-read charts including:
* Internal reaction solution temperature (TINT)
* Reactor block temperature (TBLK)
* Reaction solution temperature minus reactor block temperature (TINT - TBLK) shows the timing and magnitude of thermal events
