The Trimble Nomad 800GX handheld takes a powerful fully-featured handheld computer, and combines with an internal GPS receiver and integrated cellular modem to create an all-in-one solution for field data collection and inspection activities with huge 6GB Flash storage.
The integrated WAAS capable GPS receiver designed for productive data collection in difficult GPS conditions such as under forest canopy or against tall buildings. In applications, such as forestry mapping and natural resource management, where accuracy may be less important but high productivity is essential, the Trimble Nomad 800GX handheld is ideally suited.
The Trimble Nomad 800GX handheld will meet and surpass your expectations for ruggedness and performance in all conditions. The Nomad series meets the rigorous MIL-STD-810F military standard for drops, vibration, humidity, and extreme temperature. It also comes with an IP67 rating, meaning that the Trimble Nomad handheld is completely sealed from dust, and can survive submersion in up to 1 meter of water for 30 minutes.
The integrated cellular modem means you can now be connected to the internet or back office without having to tether to a bluetooth phone or Wireless LAN hotspot. Use internet connectivity to access VRS corrections for high accuracy mapping with the GPS Pathfinder ProXRT, or send and receive data without having to return to the office.
