Carbon fiber and epoxy resin kit- do it yourself
This is a kit designed to help newbies get accustomed to working with carbon fiber. It consists of one linear yard of 39.5 inch wide plain weave 5.7 ounce carbon fiber, plus a 12 ounce kit of epoxy- Plenty to get the job done.
This kit is suitable for automotive, motorcycle, marine, or aviation uses.
The epoxy has a work life of 30 minutes, and is fully cured in 24 hours. This is a high quality, cycloaliphatic non-blushing epoxy. Although this epoxy has the best UV resistance of any epoxy we have seen, it still should be clearcoated with a suitable product. Either marine grade UV resistant coatings or automotive clear coatings can be used.
