The Fairchild Model 1600A vacuum regulator is designed to control pressure in high flow systems above and below atmospheric pressure. The Model 1600A features a control sensitivity of 1" water column for use in precision processes. An aspirator tube compensates downstream pressure droop under flow conditions, while a separate control chamber isolates the diaphragm from the main flow to eliminate hunting and buzzing.
