The Model REFRAC DS takes refractometer technology to new heights. Continuous measurement that
is temperature-compensated (temperature will affect the measurement) and a super-sensitive light detector
that boosts resolution (a linear array of 2048 photo diodes) are combined to enhance precision and tighten
process control. A scratch-resistant sapphire prism and stainless steel parts protect the measuring head from
the process to further ensure accurate readings. The REFRAC DS measurement is free of signal drift, and not
it is CIP/SIP compatible and has no moving parts, service is minimized.
The unique construction allows up to three sensor heads to be connected to one analyzer so that three separate
stations can be monitored simultaneously and the cost of two additional analyzers eliminated. Each of the
connected sensor units can be situated up to 60 feet from the measuring head, keeping the analyzer safe from
harsh environments. Because of this unique design feature, the REFRAC DS boasts a long life and can be
utilized in even the most aggressive application environments.
