Bell&Howell-Minolta, 16mm, MICROFILM PLANETARY CAMERA SYSTEM:
1. ID: Bell + Howell File Master I , series 515A, Serial No. 1619165 which is the same as: Minolta MA 16 (Micro Auto 16).
2. Versatility: Can make jacket and microfiche thanks to the cutter incorporated in the camera.
3. Simple Operation: Focusing is simply a matter of adjusting the position of the camera head according to the sizes of the documents to be microfilmed. EE system always keeps exposure optimum. The camera is automatic focusing. The positive stepping planetary gives reduction ratios of: 21:1, 25:1, 27:1, & 29:1 with fixed pull-down of 11.7 mm (COSATI) / 10 mm (NMA).
4. Photographic area: Up to 12 x 17 COSATI format / 10.5 x 13.5 NMA format.
5. Resolution: Minimum 120 lines per mm in all reductions.
6. Depth of field: Min. 0.75 above copy table.
7. Film: 16 mm x 100 ft. 5 mils or 16 mm x 215 ft. 2.5 mils.
8. Automatic Exposure System: Automatically adjusts for variations in document color and texture. A 12 position control allows the operator to compensate for film speed and processing methods.
9. Item Counters: Four digit re-settable in front and seven digit non-re-settable in the rear ( now shows 7385); there is a film EMPTY ALARM that has an off switch.
10. Controls: Power on / off, spacing control, Shutter control button, Exposure Setting, Film Supply Indicator, and there is a receptacle to plug in a foot switch for alternatative shutter control. NOTE: The foot switch is not part of this sale, and there is no MANUAL.
11. Power: There is a fuse holder on the back of the unit (1 amp 250v); the cord has a three prong 120v grounded plug.
12. Lens: Micro Rokkor f 4.5, 28 mm, design 515B, serial # 117567, with plastic lens cover / cap.
13. U.L. listed 199c (office appliance).
14. Service Label on side if base says: ID No. 1827 P.
15. Overall Dimensions: 21 x 23 x 44 max. height. The lens ranges 23.75 to 32.75 above table.
