Somerset Dough Rollers - Meeting the High Demands of the Food Service Industry
These machines help food service workers prepare dough extremely fast; up to 600 pieces per hour with minimal effort. The dough roller will shape the pizzas in a perfectly round shape every time! A bakery might use a Somerset bakery dough roller to create pie crusts, pastries, and other delightful treats on demand.
How do Somerset Dough Rollers Work?
Dough rollers are double pass units that have three rolls. They are primarily used to create round dough products; however, they can also be used to create square or elongated dough products. Somerset dough rollers use either metallic or synthetic roller material depending on the machine's application. The most popular material is synthetic, particularly the proprietary Somerset synthetic material. Food service workers often choose synthetic dough roller material because with this material the dough does not stick on the rolls and the finished dough has a smooth, even texture. Metallic rollers are typically used only when the dough is very dry.
