HOW DOES THE RIDGID WET/DRY AUTOMATIC DISCHARGE PUMP OUT WORK?
1. Push the "ON" button on the vacuum and vacuum up desired waste water with the 7' foot suction hose provided. When the water reaches a certain level inside the vacuum tank the discharge pump automatically pumps the water out of the tank through a 5/8" garden hose connection to the sanitary sewer or a city permitted area. The 5/8 garden hose fitting can be changed to fit a bigger size hose for bigger debris if needed. Discharge pump flow @ 0" - 3600+ gph. This Flow is more than sufficient. Once set-up the the RIDGID Wet/Dry Automatic Discharge Pump Out Vacuum operates on it's own.
